Anesidora is a dangerous world, and the people living in it tend to live in tight knit communities where they can protect each other. Those who travel between cities and regions take on huge risks, sticking to large groups for protection. Some travel in smaller groups. They can move quicker that way and bring with them skills to help those in need. These are the heroes of our story in Anesidora.
My experience is as a cinematographer, vfx artist, and photographer, so when planning art for the Anesidora book, we decided to invite some friends to a photo shoot. To get another eye, photographer Kate Elliott and I took turns taking photos of each model.

The goal was to capture the look of sci fi mixed with fantasy and older styles of dress. I also mixed photoshop techniques in order to make the photography feel more like art. You can barely tell that we shot everything in Ryan Omega’s front yard!
